The 5-Minute Notion Reset for Overwhelming Weeks
When your week falls apart, don't rebuild your whole system. Do this instead.
We've all had those weeks. A sick kid, a surprise deadline, a house that looks like a tornado passed through. The last thing you need is to spend an hour reorganizing your Notion dashboard. In fact, that's usually procrastination in a nice outfit.
Here's what I do instead. I open my Weekly Reset page, which is just a simple template with three boxes: What actually matters this week, What can wait, and What I'm letting go. I set a timer for five minutes and fill it in. That's it. No dragging databases, no color-coding.
The magic isn't in the system. It's in the permission to simplify. When you write down three real priorities, you stop trying to do everything. You also give yourself a record to look back on — proof that you survived, and often thrived.
If you want to try it, you can duplicate my free Weekly Reset page. It's the same one I use when my own life feels like too much. You got this.
