A release note for the Home Dashboard refresh
What changed in the latest Home Dashboard update, why I removed two sections, and how to migrate without losing your entries.
I shipped a refresh of the Home Dashboard this week. The biggest change: I removed the "Someday" section and folded it into a single inbox page. Two people told me the old version made them feel behind every time they opened it. That's the opposite of what a home page should do.
The weekly reset page is now one screen instead of three. It asks four questions: what's working, what's stuck, what's next, and what can wait. There's a new small habit strip at the top you can hide if habits aren't your thing.
If you already own the template, check your email for the updated duplicate link. Duplicate the new version into a fresh page first, then copy your existing entries over. The old version won't disappear, so you can move at your own pace.
One thing I didn't change: the grocery list. Several of you asked for a meal-planning section, and I'm testing one for the next update. If you have strong feelings about weekly vs. monthly meal layouts, reply to the update email and tell me.
