How to Set Up a Weekly Review in Notion (Even If You’re a Recovering Procrastinator)
A simple, judgment-free method to review your week in 30 minutes — using a Notion template that does the heavy lifting.
I used to dread weekly reviews. They felt like homework, and I always ended up staring at a blank page, wondering what I was supposed to do. Then I realized: the problem wasn't me, it was the system. A weekly review doesn't have to be a soul-searching session — it's just a quick check-in with your life.
Here's the structure I use in my Weekly Reset template: 1) What went well? 2) What drained my energy? 3) What am I carrying into next week? You answer those three questions in 10 minutes, then you pick one 'focus' for the next seven days. That's it.
Why it works: When you're not trying to track 47 things, you actually do them. By narrowing your focus to one main goal, you give your brain a clear direction. And the template does the structure for you — all you have to do is type.
Try it this Sunday. You might just find yourself looking forward to it.
