How I organize my week as a busy creator (using Notion, not stress)
A peek inside my weekly planning routine that helps me stay on top of work, life, and everything in between.
I used to start my week feeling frazzled, with a to-do list that was more of a wish list. Then I built a simple weekly dashboard in Notion that changed everything. Now I spend 15 minutes every Sunday mapping out my priorities — and I actually get to the end of the week feeling accomplished, not exhausted.
Here’s the secret: I break my week into three buckets — Musts, Shoulds, and Wows. Musts are non-negotiables (deadlines, appointments). Shoulds are important but flexible (workouts, deep work). Wows are the fun extras (a coffee date, a creative project). I assign each task to a day, but I leave space for surprises.
My template also has a weekly reflection section where I jot down one win, one lesson, and one thing I’m grateful for. It takes two minutes and completely shifts my mindset. If you’re tired of chaotic weeks, try this system — it’s a game changer.
